- My mom doesnt seem to understand how serious spoilers are
- and how much getting spoiled on a show pisses me off.
- I’m not the type of person to watch a show the day it airs
- the only shows I do that for are GoT, Doctor Who, and Downton Abbey.
- I watch shows a season at a time, and if possible, several seasons at a time.
- I do this because I’m not the most patient of people…. I don’t like waiting a week to be able to watch another episode.
- so this means when a show is airing, I am out of the loop… I do not involve myself with the fandom, nor do I keep track of what episode they’re on in the series.
- My mother doesn’t understand this, and usually assumes that because I like a show, I keep track of it and know everything that is going down.
- This means she doesnt ask if I’ve seen something before opening the spoiler flood gates.
- so I’m constantly getting shows ruined for me…. and that pisses me off…..
- I get enough spoilers from Tumblr, I don’t need added help
